报告人简介：Yulin Jia，博士，美籍华人，美国农业部国家水稻研究中心（USDA-ARS Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center）水稻病理学首席科学家。

Yulin Jia 博士长期从事水稻稻瘟病抗性分子机理研究，以研究稻瘟病抗性基因Pi-ta与无毒基因AvrPi-ta的互作机理而闻名于世。对稻瘟病等水稻病害的分子机理调控和抗性育种有深入的研究。在MPMI、Plant Disease、 Phytopathology等国际知名学术期刊上发表论文200余篇。代表作有：Coevolutionary dynamics of rice blast resistance gene Pi-ta and Magnaporthe oryzae avirulence gene AVR-Pita 1； Identification of a new locus Ptr(t) required for rice blast resistance gene Pi-ta-mediated resistance等。
